Nestled just off Interstate 95 in Emporia, Virginia, the Fairfield Inn & Suites offered a pleasantly unexpected escape during my recent journey. While the check-in process had a hiccup with being given a room key to an occupied suite, the staff smoothed everything over with their warm demeanor, reflecting a genuine eagerness to ensure my stay was enjoyable. Despite my persistent attempts to reach out to the manager, my calls went unanswered.
